Welcome to OC Gastro Endoscopy Center. I’m Dr. Jason Yip, and on behalf of our whole team, thank you for trusting us with your care.
It’s normal to feel nervous before a procedure. That is exactly why we built this center the way we did. It is purpose-built for upper endoscopy and colonoscopy and designed to put you at ease. It sits right next door to our Brea office, and for our Anaheim patients, it’s only about 20 minutes away. Inside, it feels closer to a spa than a surgery center: warm blankets, quiet music, and a team that guides you through every step. And because the center is dedicated to just these procedures, your care is focused, efficient, and safe.
Your procedure is performed by one of our board-certified GI physicians, who together have performed thousands of endoscopic procedures. We use AI technology to assist us where it helps, adding another layer of care.

Schedule Your Visit
Your GI provider will discuss your symptoms, health concerns, and recommended procedure. Your provider will help determine the appropriate next steps for your care and answer any initial questions. Once your procedure is scheduled, our team will guide you through the process, explain what to expect, and help you feel confident and prepared for your upcoming visit.
Prepare for Your Procedure
Before your appointment, you’ll receive a text message with a link to a brief health questionnaire. A nurse from our center will also call to review your medical history, explain what to expect, and answer your questions. Please complete your questionnaire, provide your insurance information, and follow your procedure preparation instructions to help ensure a smooth check-in and visit.
Procedure Day
When you arrive, our friendly team will welcome you, assist with check-in, and help you get settled. Our staff will review your medical history, confirm your procedure details, and answer any remaining questions to ensure you feel comfortable and prepared. If you’re receiving sedation, you’ll be able to relax while our team provides attentive care throughout the process.
Recovery & Follow-Up
After your procedure, you’ll rest in our recovery area while our team monitors you. Before you leave, our staff will review your discharge instructions, discuss any immediate findings, and explain the next steps in your care. If you received sedation, a responsible adult must drive you home. Your GI provider will discuss your results and any recommended follow-up care to support your digestive health.
